Premises

The Centre has integrated offices, seminar room and laboratories, officially opened on December 15 1999 by the Chancellor of the University of Sydney, Dame Leonie Kramer.


On December 15 1999, the Key Centre moved into new integrated office and laboratory space on Floor 3 of the School of Chemistry, Sydney University. This comprises modern offices, a seminar room, and state-of-the-art laboratories to house the extensive equipment for polymer colloid synthesis and characterisation of the Centre.

The major laboratory is the Nuplex Polymer Synthesis Laboratory, in recognition of Nuplex Resins as a generous Foundation Sponsor of the Key Centre.

       

The extensive facilities for characterisation of polymer colloids are housed in the Orica Polymer Characterisation Laboratory, in recognition of Orica as a generous Foundation Sponsor of the Key Centre.

The Key Centre has an excellent array of equipment for synthesis and analysis of polymer colloids.

Location

The Centre is located in the Faculty of Science at the University of Sydney, in Sydney, Australia. Access to the centre by car, train or bus is quite easy.
